Why PS4 software rose more ? i believe Halo released in last Oct that could be one reason XBOX one is seeing less increase as GOW cant match Halo numbers.. so we dont have PS4 hardware numbers yet? |

Why didn't Gears get digital counted like the other games?
Oh well, I expected an XB1 win with the Gears console release. Keep on pushing those games out MS.

Some publishers simply don't hand over digital data for some reason. I might be missing a few but I believe that Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo and Bethesda all don't give digital data to the NPD Group. uPlay is also excluded I believe.
Anyone else thinking the gap is going to be 100k with knowing that Uncharted PS4 slim was the best selling sku at 17% of the total hardware sales since there really wasn't that much else around to sell making the Uncharted 4 over 50% of all PS4 sales in October.
Xbox - 327k
Nintendo 180k -Wii U down but 3DS up keeping Nintendo combined sales fairly flat to 180k
PS4 - 218k roughly 50k down YoY
Giving Xbox roughly 45% share PS4 30% and Nintendo 25%.
Are there any specific game sales numbers?? Interested in how battlefield 1, gears, and Titanfall 2 sold.
Some actual numbers:
So at Oct 2016 NPD USA Retail Software, Battlefield 1 sold 1292K in total. That's 647K on Xbox One and 644K on PS4 INCLUDING Xbox bundles.
For the 4th month in a row, Xbox One (329K) beat the PS4 (235K) at October 2016 USA NPD Retail Hardware sales with a massive 94K difference!

Xbox One 329,000 MoM Drop = 1.1% YoY Rise = 8.4% Weekly average Xbox One September: 274,800 / 5 = 66,560 Xbox One October: 329,000 / 4 = 82,250 Rise = 23.6%
PS4 235,100 MoM Drop = 17.6% YoY Drop = 14.4% Weekly average PS4 September: 285,300 / 5 = 57,060 PS4 October: 235,100 / 4 = 58,775 Rise = 3%

So a 94k difference, Seems like my calculations from a few days ago were on the right track.
Also it seems the Gears of War 4 bundle did good it's above 42k> and was the #1 Xbox bundle for October

Xbox one had a great run.
Now see the difference destroyed in 1 month.
