Mine sat in Atlanta from 12:52pm yesterday until 12:05am. Those sunsovbitches! It was within driving distance!! I'll have before noon, though.

Doing the data transfer from old PS4 to Pro is going to suck balls, from what I've read it will take hours. And in my case, I'll have to do it twice since I'm going SSD but the model I'm getting is out of stock right now so I have to settle for the stock Pro HDD for few weeks. I cleaned up as much as I could from my old PS4 but it's still about 250GB of data to transfer.

I bought a 2tb HDD about two weeks ago for by current PS4. Then, I decided to download and install all of my current library. It took over a day!!

Now, I'm going to take that same 2tb HDD and drop it into my Pro. Then, I'm going to taste the Pro's 1tb and put it in my launch PS4. On the plus side, I have to work tomorrow night so I'll just queue everything up and when I get home on Friday, much of the downloading will be done.

I only had 7gb to transfer (PT and some captures) so it shouldn't be too painful.

yesterday I visited a friend who bought a PS4 pro, uncharted looked good as ever, the last of us was impressive in 4k.
The console seems to make just-us much noise as the launch ps4 playing unharted.


But One thing was really F'ed up, when he played Until Dawn, which I brought with me so he could burrow it, the framerate on the pro took an absolute crap. The game from start till 1 hour in would just have increadible framerate drops, even in cinematics.

We tried another non patched game, bloodborne, which worked very well, no issues.

Can anyone else try playing 20 minutes of until dawn and checking? it was a horrible experience. We tried reinstalling, we patched the game, everything, it just wouldnt work

I strongly recommend NOT playing this. There's only one game to enjoy in your new console! 

So a friend bought ps4 pro and its broken its loud in the start and then nothing blackscreen.... we search online and it seems that there is a black screen of death by the ps4 pro

Got the data transfer process going, 6-7hours...and I'll have to do this again when I get my SSD...

That is only the first estimate, that timer should go down after a few minutes. Which is your transfer speed per minute?

The first estimate for transferring the ~800 GB data of my PS4 to the PS4 Pro was 8 hours, but the remaining time has gone down after the first 150 GB to 3 hours. The current transfer speed is 4.2 GB per minute / 25 GB every 6 minutes (both times stopped)... that's 250 GB per hour or 1 TB in 4 hours.

Although the limiting factor will be the writing speed of the destination drive, maybe my 2TB-FireCuda is writing faster than the 1TB-stock HDD of the PS4 Pro... so it would be interesting if you measure a few minutes and tell us how much GB were transfered in x minutes, f.e. x GB in 6 minutes.

Fallout without Mods? I strongly recommend NOT playing this. ;)
