Amazing news. Hopefully it sells way below expected in US too. Maybe Activision will invest in a new engine and have full dedicated servers...lol yeah probably not.

That's strange Call of duty is so popular over in UK. Personaly I stopped buying them after MW3 and have since moved to battlefield.

And before NPD numbers are out and show a notable difference in COD favour (if that's happen, of course) again, NPD will be retail only while digital sales is a huge Battlefield victory.

 

Sorry, no matter what, whatever wins, will be a close victory. COD is not big as it used to be, at least not this year.

Common Ryng, you are here for plenty of time now. No reason for me to go and actually proove this point tghat was made hundreds of times before. CoD is by far the most popular in the US. Even if it will underperform, it will still wipe the floor with BF1. Allas, you dont believe me, I really dont care. Lets just wait and see how soon will Activision will boast about a 5-6 million lead ( minimum) or that they outsold every other major FPS games this holiday season combined. It will happen. Its only a matter of time.

All Activision has to do is make a Modern Warfare 4 and bam. They will have the fastest selling COD to date.

Most copies were sold @ $80 instead of the normal $60 so the drop for Activision ain't too bad.

Cod4 online,
IW campaign,
IW zombies are all excellent. It's a really good value package. And the consumers agree. Just look at titanfall. Things could of been an awful lot worse. COD is still a mega franchise.

 

Digital will also be higher and a digital copy is more profitable then one at retail.

You know what, ok free to believe what you want. You really don't understand the point if continue to say over and over and over COD is more popular in USA, i already showed you what's the problem here, but whatever.

5 million MORE than Battlefield this year? Including retail and digital? and that's also the "minmum", which mean you probabily expect even 7-8 million more than Battlefield? Good luck, you need it.

yep.  COD infinite warfare is the first game that I buy digitally at full price because I wanted to play MW early.

Good news to me, glad more people are voting with their wallets and not supporting this game. Of course we'll probably get the inevitable PS4 bundle that will inflate sales like BO3 and make it look like the game is selling fine.
