Why would localisation be the problem? Zelda games aren't that text-heavy, and I don't know if they will use that many voice actors (hell, outside of Link and the Old Wise Man, I haven't really seen people or towns in this Zelda, looks kinda barren).

We saw only small part of world (less than 2%) there will be towns, cities, NPCs, quests...

I really hope so. I think it misses something like the Skyrim ad campaign. That trailer was all you needed to know what Skyrim was about. All the trailers and shorts of BotW still lack certain NPC interaction, which is important for this kind of open world game.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

I think they didn't wanted to spoil too much of game so early even with trailer and fact demo was just one small part of game. We will definitely see new trailer with more staffs on January Switch event.

Uffff, I don't really agree with that. When you pay 60€ at launch, you pay them for a product you're going to use inmediately, and that product has to work as its supposed to from the beginning. If I wanted to wait until it's done, I would just wait and get it discounted or something.

It works for the rest of the industry. I know I'd rather play Zelda in March with a few fps dips and minor bugs than in June without them.

A bad habit doesn't become good when everyone else does it, too. It's still bad. I am very pleased to see Nintendo NOT following this.

So the BOTW switch port isn't ready it seems, yet I still believe the Wii U version is sat there finished and could quite easily have launched this holiday if Nintendo chose.

IMO there is no chance that will Nintendo release first Wii U versions and before Switch version of game, in any case.

You are right they wont. However it hasn't stopped them dangling a big fat carrot in the face of Wii U owners for the last few years, only to completely disregard us in favour of their new console. I know its business blah blah, but still doesn't soften the blow that there is an anticipated game there ready for all those patient fans to play and Nintendo are holding it back. The last of us, an anticipated game, came out the year PS4 launched, you didn't see Sony hold the PS3 version back until the PS4 remaster was ready.

Jesus, so Manu people acting like their lives hang in the balance and that its the end of the world over whether or not this game is delayed.
Kinda sad to see actually.

Well at least Wii U owners are still getting game. Comparing with PS3 and PS4 isn't exactly same, because PS3 actually sold great in last two years before PS4 was launched and had solid instal base (incomparible bigger than Wii U), while Wii U is already dead and have terrible instal base of only 13m.

Their greed is so strong that they rather wait for later to harvest them moneyzz. It's a devilish plan!

Actually yes. If they'd care at least a little about their fans we wouldn't even been discussing this topic.

I know right? Those greedy bastards! Why couldn't they have just rushed it out the door for this holiday season like all the other generous video game companies! Like SEGA and Ubisoft and all those other guys who rushed great masterpieces out the door for the holidays. Like Addassin's Creed: Unity and Sonic the Hedgehog (2006)! Or stick to a release date that was also a delayed date like Warner Bros. With their incredible PC gem, Batman: Arkham Knight! Fuck you, Nintendo!
