Forums - Nintendo - Emily Rogers: 3D Mario on Switch has more exploration than 3D World and Galaxy

I don't put any stock in Rogers' rumors.

More exploration than Galaxy and 3D World would be pretty easy to accomplish.

You don't? She was spot on regarding the Switch. The only thing she's been wrong about lately is female link.

She's been wrong about much more than that. She either steals info that's already leaked and presents it as her own or makes educated guesses like this Mario one.

In which instances would this be? Liam Roberts usually backs her up, and he has legit contacts within the industry

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

Rogers took the news of an October NX reveal from the WSJ: https://www.reddit.com/r/nintendo/comments/51qyh0/nintendo_aims_to_rescue_profits_with_marios_jump/

Here's her tweet several days later:

Rogers and Roberts "broke news" of Paper Mario on WiiU here: http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2016/01/rumour_intelligent_systems_is_working_on_new_paper_mario_for_wii_u.

But 2chan had reported the same thing the previous Mayhttp://i.imgur.com/ldwRuEa.jpg

Things she's gotten wrong:

1) Female link
2) SoulCalibur V a WiiU launch game
3) Paper Mario for 3DS arriving before Xmas 2011
4) Animal Crossing 3DS arriving before Xmas 2011

And of course there have been some accurate predictions. A broken clock is correct twice a day.

And then sometimes she'll post obvious info like "WiiU projects moved to NX" or "Super Mario Switch to be more open-ended than the most linear 3D Marios on the market."

Yeah, exploration is fantastic on mario games, and by mario games I mean Mario 64.

Which is the less fun 3D Mario to play nowadays

Even today, I personally still prefer Mario 64 to 3D World.

64's playground-like levels with varied challenges and discoveries around almost every corner are just so much more interesting than 3D World's limited and simplistic stages.

Because even today you still have those nostalgia googles on you.

It's my favourite Mario by FAR.

One doesn't need nostalgia goggles to find large worlds full of varied challenges more fun than very small levels with very little in them.

You must be a Behesda hardcore fan then. Wait...

For you. The rest of the world has spoken. Mario 64 is miles ahead of 3DW. Nintendo already saw the sales and know that 3DW does not have any future. Thankfully.
