Forums - Nintendo - Rumor: Nintendo Switch Release Date, Price, And Games Lineup Teased!

I figured they would do free transfer of digital Wii U titles to Switch. But the option to trade in your physical game for a steep discount is shocking. Hopefully they do the same with Wii U. If you can trade in your Wii U for a big discount on Switch? That would be a tempting offer for those that suffered Wii U.

I doubt they would do it with the console, but I can see them doing the whole physical copy thing because it is unfair to the players with physical copies if they only let the people who purchased it digitally get the new version for free. We both paid for the game so we both should be able to get it for free or a discount.

Not necessarily. This would be the first time where if you turned in your game you get a big discount. Well they did do something like it with a upgrade from ps3 to ps4. But not for free on the digital market.

$260?
$340?

Doubt it... I have never seen a product that has prices like that... $250 or $300 or $350 sounds more likely.

Yeah but if they do it for digital copies then they should do something for physical copies as well because it is unfair to those who bought it physically. We still had to pay for the game.

They do want to make a profit on each console sold, so maybe it cost like 250$ to make one.

This rumour has no real source from what I can see. sounds fake anyway.

Although I can see Mario + Zelda at launch, I can't see Mario+Zelda+ 3 big Wii U ports. They need to give 3Rd parties room to succeed

"If you own the digital versions on Wii U you can download them for FREE on the Nintendo Switch"

BITCH PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!

Pocky Lover Boy!

Why would they offer free games if you own last gen versions lol. Did Sony do something similar with TLOUR or did GTA5 have a similar option. Sounds like bs to me

I can see a couple of those being there since they are ports/remasters not newer installments so it is possible. They will probably change some elements up but not the whole game.

I doubt that's how it works since there is a stocking fee and etc.
