I used to do that, because that is how the word forza is pronounced. 'Fortsa' essentially, not an english word after all. But how does the games or adverts by MS pronounce it? Because if it's 'For-Za' they are wrong, we are right.

Mine are all Street fighter related:

1) Ryu's hurricane kick: it's supposed to be Tatsumaki Senpukyaku but me and my cousins thought he said perfect kick baroo kick (don't ask, this was when SF2 first released).

2) Dragon punch: Shoryuken. Cousin thought Ryu was taunting Ken by saying, "sure are you Ken."

3) Chung Li's spinning bird kick: cousin thought she was saying spinning bird shit.

I have butchered Bethesda name countless times in past. I'm almost to the point where I pronounce it correctly.

In SoR 2, one of Axel's moves involves him doing an uppercut and saying "bare knuckle".

Some of my friends hear: "get a fuck". Others hear "fuck grandpa". I hear "redempa". Verdict: Sega should've bought better sound circuitry or hired Krazy Ken.

As a non native speaker I used to pronounce Infamous as In + famous, so inf-ei- mous instead of in-fe-mous. Most of my friends who aren't native speakers still make the same mistake. We also can't prounce the -ous part right and instead we pronounce it as oo, as in "mOOt point".

Once I said that in front of an American friend and he said "wait, there is a game about a moose? Sold!".

I've always mispronounced "Zelda: Minish Cap". (And I still mess it up even to this day.)

The word itself is pretty weird though. Minish? As in Mine-ish Or Mini-sh as in mini?

I believe it's the latter actually since they really are mini lol, but I've always called them Mine-ish. Probably because my brother once told me it was pronounced that way.

Probably not that many ways in English, and right now I'm having a really hard time coming up with a way to describe it in English (mainly because I can't think of an English word where the first syllable is pronounced in the same way). If you're familiar with the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA), I think the way to represent the pronunciation is simply [spyro]. If you're not familiar with it, well, that's probably not going to help you at all. And since I've never actually had to mark anything using IPA, only read it, there's a chance I messes something up (but I think I got it right, judging by the chart).

Same, I work at Gamestop and they always say ID on the commercial TV. But I refuse to say it, it makes no sense. It's I.D.
