Actually Trump is facing a civil suit from a woman who says he raped her as a 13 year old at one of his 90s sex parties:

A lawyer has to defend who they are assigned to, that's how our judical system works, every person is entitled to legal representation no matter what.

I think the real issue is Hilary defended what most perceive a guilty man.

People are wrongfuly accused as well.

As a public defender. Everybody is entitled to an attorney that do their best to defend them. How on earth is that wrong?

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Info Wars...nope can't give them any views.

That being said, Hillary is a garbage candidate

Well, they are substantially better than the likes of MSNBC, CNN, and Fox.

I doubt that.

Oh, the humanity. A defense lawyer defended someone who might have committed a crime.

This has always been a ludicrous line of thinking. Having a defense lawyer, no matter what you are charged with, is fundamental to our justice system and it is certainly not something I would like to see go away any time soon.

Again, its not that the person might have been a rapist. Its pretty evident he was.

Not sure why her supporters are okay with that.

Do you honestly not understand how the legal system works?

edit: in addition, if you do understand and don't like it, how would you prefer it worked?

They're actually much much worse.

Funny hearing this from the camp accusing the other side of voter fraud.

It doesn't matter. The justice system is designed to give everyone a fair trial, whether or not some anonymous voice thinks that "its pretty evident" he was guilty. Who's job do you think it should be to determine whether or not someone is allowed to have a defense lawyer? Please, tell me. Whos job should it be to say "I'm pretty sure he's guilty so we don't need a real trial"?

I think he knows, but somehow thinks that people that are "obviously guilty" shouldn't have a defender in court/legal advice

that idea seems pretty dangerous to me

It has nothing to do with her "defenders" and it shouldn't have anything to do with her "attackers".  I'm not voting for her.  What it has to do with is your opposition to a fundamental right of any American citizen.  It's beyond silly political bickering.

You might want to check out the Sixth Amendment of the US Constitution.  I don't know where you're from but most US citizens take this seriously.
