Wow, there must be a lot of copies sitting on store shelves if VGC numbers are any indication.

1M retail copies were sold first few days. Wait for second week and we are probably at 1.7. Add digital sales 2.5
Plus rest of October you probably have 1.5M copies left at Retail to sell for Christmas😬
But who cares Take Two managed to sell 4.5M copies for a good price

Looks like the risk of doing less paid off for them. I guess this means I won't be supporting them in the future based on their recent work and commitment towards not putting out polished products.

Huh, I heard nothing but bad things about Mafia III. Guess it doesn't matter since they sold 4.5 million copies (even if consumers haven't bought them)

I actually like the game. I dunno why. It's true, it's repetative as hell, the story sucks and it really doesn't deserve the name Mafia. But I still can't stop playing it. I'm having fun, so yeah... Not regretting getting it, I also didn't have a single bug until now for some reason. I'm playing the PC version.

It goes so far that Mafia 3 actually keeps me away from playing Civ 6 and I'm a big ass Civ fan! Gosh, hopefuly it's over soon, I wish I had more time to play. xP

I got a feeling they over shipped this like they did Max Payne 3. They shipped 3 million copies but so much ended on store shelves unsold and the game ended flopping (sadly). I feel this will be a similar situation. NPD will be very telling
