Jason, how do you come to that conclusion? 'On Amazon' it looks like a obvious win for the PS4 so I'd be interested in hearing your thinking. ALL month the PS4 has lead by at least TWO PS4 SKUs (sometimes as many as FOUR) and we had nearly TWO days when the XB1 lead (TWO 'days'). At the moment the PS4 is at #06 (up) and the XB1 is at #36 (down)
I see absolutely nothing to suggest things are 'close' on Amazon.

The PS5 Exists.
Amazon is a good indicator based on trends. Often rankings on Amazon would follow to other retailers. It was never used to predict actual sales. It's used to see the popular console for the month and therefore winner. Amazon is a very large retailer, it's not oblivious to think buying trends would be the same at most other retailers. Which they have been ( for example---- http://www.gamestop.com/browse/consoles?nav=28-xu0,13ffff2412-4f )
These past couple months have brought out the Amazon doubters in droves and it's frankly getting annoying. 3 years of a perfect track record and now Amazon is not indicative of the market when obviously there are pretty good reasons why it's been off. The tracking of only one console at that.

However it was more acurated when there wasnt a half a duzen or more bundles.
