How come?

Simple, Amazon and GameStop are bigger than Walmart, Cosco, and Target (never mind even throwing Best Buy in for PS4). The pre-orders will just soldifiy the month (once again )

I can see where your coming from with Amazon but Gamestop's best sellers list isnt very trustworthy considering that it had the Wii U ahead of all XB1 and 3DS SKUs. But yeah PS4 should still win this month even if it won or lost BF because of Pro.

I just checked Twitter, no smug Aaron Greenberg tweets! PS4 won confirmed!

PS: Do you have any idea how much the PS4 sold in the UK from January to June?

Sorry for the late reply, i was a bit busy.

PS4 sold 207k january to May 2016 (not including June then), and was up by 7% compared to 2015 193k.

So Xbox wins Walmart, Cosco, Target while PS4 wins Bestbuy, Amazon, and Gamestop.

I wouldn't say the PS4 won Bestbuy The BF1 X1 was the best selling bundle on there through Thursday night/Friday until the Uncharted PS4 hit the top in the early hours of Saturday and whilst it's at the top there is 4 different X1s bundles before the next PS4, I'd probably give it an edge to Xbox on there.

Except Best Buy doesn't update those hourly like Amazon does.  It's very likely the PS4 was #1 the whole time, it just wasn't showing that in the results.  And it doesn't really matter how many XBO SKU are there before the 2nd PS4 SKU.  It matters their position.  I mean you have PS4 at #1, XBO at #6, #32, #33, and #35, then PS4 Pro at #45. We don't know if the PS4 at #1 and #45 outsold all of those XBO SKUs combined (which could be likely given how low the other XBO SKUs are), or if the first SKU only outsold the first XBO SKU by a few hundred units.

Yeah that was the only thing I could find as well, was hoping you had numbers for June. Also those numbers don't cover all of may, and since it's 207 907 units, it makes more sense to round up to 208k

But that means that the PS4 sold quite a bit more in Germany than in the UK for the first half of 2016.

I partially agree but saying 1 platform "won" is cool but the real question is, by how much if the ps4 won its stores 55-45 and the 3 smaller stores xbox dominated 70-30 there is stilla bit of wiggle room.

Obviously im also thinking the PS4 might be ahead, but untill we have solid numbers, even tough it looks good for ps4, nothing is set in stone.

I'd say it is set in stone. It would take a landslide BF X1 victory for the PS4 to lose the month (and no reports suggest this).

I ment who wins black friday :P the month is set in stone i agree

No it's not.  The list you were looking at included used items, as well.  The Wii U you speak of was a used one that Gamestop was selling for $180.  It really just proves that the Wii U could have at least sold a few more millions if Nintendo actually tried with its pricing.  Now, if you had checked New only, than you would see that the Wii U was nowhere near the other consoles.

Sony said more times that Germany is right now a better market than UK for PS4.
I don't know is this mean PS4 lifetime sales are better in Germany than in UK, but at least monthly/weekly PS4 should easy sells more in Germany.

Also i think he was also talking about general software, expecially exclusives, like Uncharted / BloodBorne / The Order ecc...

P.S
Fun fact: Germany/UK is not even the best market for BloodBorne, indeed in Italy BloodBorne sold more than in UK and Germany :p (at least first week, probabily not lifetime though)

Breaking news: Xbox won the microsoft store in sales

Joking obviously :P anyway on the subject above, for a very long time in Germany the Wii-U was outselling the Xbox One and this was during a time some countries, like The Netherlands didn't officially have the Xbox One for sale and imported them from Germany to sell

In all honesty apart from the UK the Xbox doesn't exist in Europe. When I walk in a game store, yes, the xbox one does sell (about 1 xbox for every 20 ps4's) and it has a large section, but everything everywhere is just dominated by PS4 stands lol.

This was very different during the Xbox360 era. However I do see the Xbox One S is doing a much better job at convincing new buyers, but it seems like a little late. Maybe the Scorpio can be the real swing for Microsoft but its going to be tough.

The real fight is in the US.

And? even if it was used i still doubt it outsold the 3DS/Xone.
