Pokemon was already extremely popular before the release of Go, but that made it a verifiable phenomenon again. I expect COD to do better in the US than in the UK, but Pokemon is still going to take it, I feel.

Tbf cod needed a huge decline and sumo needed to be up from the best record (nintendo). Both happened but it was more due to COD decline obviously!
