I've been playing SF since 1991 and it pains me to see the franchise in this condition.

You could always go and buy tons of copies, like you did with Tomb Raider!

Tomb Raider deserved it! And I bought SFIV about five times (3 on Xbox 360, once on 3DS, and once on PS4). SFV doesn't deserve it.

I dunno how they fix it, i didn't buy star wars battlefront for the same reasons and that sold tons of copies. Maybe people have just moved on to other fighters.

Battlefront had a huge marketing campaign behind it, plus it being freaking Star Wars, plus all the TFA hype, plus people wanted a new BFront for a long time now. It was bound to sell well even if there was nothing on the DVD but a Darth Vader face laughing at you.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Thats what happens when a game has a shit beta

I remember when the first Beta didn't work at all, and they just cancelled it.

I was like "well this doesn't look good", and tons of people on the internet just tried to slit my throat "you're a dumbass, a beta can't go wrong, that's why it's a beta, you are so ENTITLED" you know the kind.

Who's laughing now?

Yea, I can understand some issues with beta but this beta was lulz worthy

Should have been called a pre-alpha

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

Everybody makes a mistake at least once.

I guess it was one of the only games that should have been delayed, and yet people still whine about delays. Even when the delayed game that comes out is great and free of problems.

It is a shame because the gameplay was actually good.

If I were Capcom I'd quickly fix and add everything that was missing that gamers loved about SF4. Then release it with all those modes and a ton of new characters like equivalent to Ultra SF4 roster, all characters already unlocked instantly.

Then finally, call it SF5 Final Edition promising that they wont be adding any new sht and making anymore versions because I know alot of my SF friends that are simply just waiting because we all got screwed over by the ridiculous amount of different versions of SF4 they released.

Plus all current SF5 owners will get all of this update for free.

Freg, biggest/best fighting game franchise and hasn't even reached 1 million sales (on VGC).  So sad :(

That's really depressing.

Idk if I would call it depressing. They took a moneyhate deal to keep it off of two other platforms and rushed out a shitty game. They kinda deserve it.

The big question is whether they'll realize they messed up and make a proper SF sequel, or if they'll view it as confirmation that fighters aren't worth investing in anymore and we don't see any more SF games. Like Sony did when they fucked up SOCOM 4.

they should release a complete edition with more content

Yeah, of course, issues are normal. But well the point was to try and see what happens when players play the game online. Nobody played a damn thing ^^

It was a mess ;) And people should have picked up on it.
