I agree with that. The demand for the game is there. If Remedy is worried about interest...they should release a "Gears like" remaster to gauge it. Don't know if they would defeat the purpose of the backwards compatibility or not though.

Well Alan Wake is a great game people still talk about. So I'm suggesting a remaster, with American Nightmare DLC, sell it for $40, and maybe do some bundling.

It should review well and help create hype for a sequel.

What it has to do with Microsoft? It seems that Remedy is not interested in making a sequel. Also, right now they are busy with making campaign for some korean f2p shooter

Some developers simply want to move on to new projects. One of my favorite authors never writes sequels. That's just something people have to accept even if they want it to be otherwise.

Yep. I loved the first game but was satisfied with the ending enough to not need a sequel. I would love to have one though.

With all the teasing and easter eggs in Quantum Break (they even had a live-action trailer), I find it hard to believe that Remedy doesn't want to make Alan Wake 2.

I am sure they want to make it but they are busy with other things like a multiplayer project.

Gears: UE was a remake and not a remaster; there's a substantial difference between the two and they don't only differ in graphics department.

Gears: UE plays more like Gears 3 than the original as well.
