I definitely can't say that I am glad, but after Wii success Nintendo was too relaxed, they thought Wii U will sell great even with huge problems and mistakes they made and only if name it "Wii".


Wii U was needed slap of reality in Nintendo face that proved them that they cant expect to have successful product without real effort and with huge mistakes, and for now its seem they learned their lesson with Switch.

I'm not glad if failed, but it had to fail because that tablet controller is stupid and it made the console too expensive.

Wii U is my favorite console since SNES.
=)
I realise I had much more fun with DKCTF, rayman legends, yoshi wolly world than in all others consoles since SNES.
I freaking love 2D plataformers.

personally, I got countless hours of enjoyment out of the system with a bunch of great games.  I don't feel like the "U" owes me anything.  I'm ready to move on to whatever is next when it lands, but in no way do I feel that the console failed me.  was it a massive commercial success?...newp.  is it hatching a new system earlier than normal?  perhaps....and thats cool with me too.

I'm glad. It was a half baked idea, and not only did 3rd parties not know what to do with it, Nintendo didn't know what to do with it. It was a disaster. Switch is the Wii U done right.
