To be quite fair, Youtube is an amazing marketing tool. Marketing is supposed to increase awarness of a product so consumers buy said product. Theoretically, this exposure should reflect positively on Switch's sales. 

Definitely, a good reception on YouTube is great marketing for the Switch

but since not everyone that supports the Switch will purchase one, i just remain cautious :p

Isn't that just proof that Youtube as a whole is peaking right now ?
Also ps4pro reveal wasn't as exciting, most people just wanted to know the specs. NX reveal on the other side has a lot of features that are better explained in a video format.
Nintendo is also the most popular amongst all fanbases. Both Playstation and Xbox fans tend to express interest for Nintendo announcement, which don't always translate in sales.
Awesome numbers though. Even if it might not directly translate in sales numbers, NX already has great product awareness.

'Friday' by Rebecca Black has something like 100,000,000 views now. I'm not kidding.

9M is good, but it's a major new hardware announcement, I think it says a lot more about people's curiosity than anything concrete. We don't know if 5M of those people were like 'pffft' or not. Or if 1M of those people were like 'DAY ONE' lol.

It's unknowable at this point. I watched it personally a couple of times, and I found it devastatingly depressing.

Youtube views, "good pre-order figures" and "sold out/trending high on Amazon" are not good measures of success, I though we'd have learned that by now.
That said, it could do really well, but not on account of youtube views. If we use a direct measure for comparison with the PS4, for instance, with its 32.5 million views, that would mean probably 30 million lifetime sales or so right now.
Like I said; not a good measure and it really doesn't translate directly into anything meaningful.

You're trying to compare the reveal of a new console with the reveals of new versions of existing consoles. That's all the proof needed to show that your exhibits are wrong ^^.
