He predicts PS3 500k, 360 350k (hardware) due to GTA4 release.

His theory is that MS is trying to push Xbox Live gold membership with GTA4 DLC from 6m to 9m.

Pete Wanat (Vivendi) sides with 360 version due to DLC & achievements, Chris Morell (Gamepro) thinks it will be even.

He has gone mad, where does he get 500k from, I reckon thats too high.

I've just started watching it, and Pachter has already used anedoctal evidence... He said he was in Best Buy the previous day looking at big TVs and 4 clerks told him he should get a PS3 with them. Then he said "so clearly, retailers pushing the hell out of PS3, so I think PS3 is just going to do better, period".

Wait, why am I listening to Pachter again?

The 360 version of GTA IV will sell a lot more in NA, but I'm not so sure about Eu/Others tbh.
On a different note that relates slightly; Pachter seems to have lost it in the last two segments of bonus round that he's been on.

I seriously doubt .. I would like, but I doubt.
PS3 is still more expensive and in US people KNOW Xbox360 exists so they will choice the Xbox360.

I think he's just throwing as many predictions out there as he can. In the odd circumstance that just one of those come true, or close, he's going to blow his own trumpet for the rest of the year/decade/century.
