$299 max IMO for the base model, then release a 4K docking station later on with a suplimental computing chip as an optional upgrade for like $100 to $150 bucks.

At that price, that will happen in 2019-2020.

$400 for a handheld that happens to output to TV, DOA. $300, meh. $250 maybe it can find some success.

It would be healthy in the sense that Nintendo would probably profit from each console. It wouldn't be healthy in the sense that it would be really bad for sales, I think. Right now it's looking like there's not enough value for most people to want to pay $400 for it. It needs to do much more than just gaming to be worth $400, and even then it might not be worth it for people that don't care about those extra features.

With the rumored specs? God no. $400 would make the NS a non-starter and it would sell even worse than the Wii U.

300, maximum. Honestly, I'm among the people who prefer an underpowered 200€ console, but that might not happen, so...

One look at it would tell you no.

I think $300-$350 is a decent cost. I would snag it at that price.

$400 is a bit high.

So far it looks as an incredible handheld, but it (and Nintendo) have a lot to prove in the home console area.

therefore, i think $300 would be acceptable (but not great) for what we have seen so far.

No buy, not at that price.

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine

399$ would be a disaster and Nintendo knows that. Remember the 3DS when it failed at 250$? The handheld unit must be available as a core unit for 199$, bundles can go much higher.

Also the Nvidia shield came in at 199$ and was quite comparable in power at its time, so it is possible.
