Wonder what that final AMD semi-custom gaming chip is for then? New Sony handheld? Sega comicg back into the console market? Xbox VR headset with it's own chipset?

AMD said a "beyond gaming" use so it is probally for either Amazon or Apple. (The ARM/Radeon hybrid)

Damn, I was wrong. Skyrim and Zelda did appear to be running a bit off. Sorta like running on Unreal....but it looks like it can't handle it that well. So I'm thinking Tegra X1 then.

I hope not. The tegra X1 makes it marginally more powerful than the Wii U, and miles away from the PS4 and X1. Even a custom Tegra X2 wouldn't exactly make Switch games hold a candle in comparison.

The wording on nvidias page has me thinking. They specifically used lightweight gaming.

"The newest API, NVN, was built specifically to bring lightweight, fast gaming to the masses."

Wonder what that means.

Well it's a custom chip, a brand new chip in fact. It might be almost as powerful as a Xbox One which is amazing for a handheld.

I think it's time to re-examing Emily's spec sheet, because everything the said was true.

No chance. Maaaaaaybe you'll get some XB1 ports but the resolution will have to be decreased and effects turned down.

Could AMD be powering the home console mode though?

With certain APIs its possible to mix differnt GPU architechtures but... meh.

Its not worth the hassel.

Either Nvidia sold nintendo more than 1 chip (so the docking station has one too)

Or its just the chip inside the tablet, and theres nothing inside the docking station (which is more likely).

Yuck. This is the worst day imaginable.

Saying a console is powered by Nivida could be the best day ever! untill you realize its the mobile chips, which are quite slow and nobody uses, then sir, you and me are both having bad days, but i have seen some possitive comments and people seem hyped for it, so lets just accept the fact its not for everyone and lets let everyone else be happy :) and then all the sudden its not the worst day ever, since happy people are always a good thing

Is Nvidia any good? What's the other option, AMD, Intel? Hope they have a dedicated conference for this thing, they must obviously if the thing is releasing in march.
