People need to keep their older consoles...
I hope those controllers don't pop off easily. Like there's some sort of hard lock on them.

If they don't release a separate successor to the 3DS this console should be a success.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
Also, was I the only one who saw that Mario Kart footage?
Wii U backwards compatible? Wii U Virtual Console?
Wii U ports? Mario Kart 9?

What guy?
If this is WiiU+DS in both concept and library then I've never been more sold on a console in my life.
WiiU' biggest issues were not being portable and the library, 3DS issue was lack of power and TV out.
GUUUUYYYYSS HAAAAALLLPPP!!!!!!

I doubt it. Who is this being marketed at? The people who are moving from handhelds to mobile? Or the core gamers? |
dude what the hell, it's for people that's it. the "marketed at" thing is ridiculous. a handheld, home console, multiplayer esport machine and you can play the next mario, zelda, nba, splatoon, skyrim etc etc. it's just a preview trailer we don't know anything about all the games. People say that I get mad but sometimes wonder if people like to be negative just because.
| TruckOSaurus said: The hydrid concept seems to have been really well thought out but it's going to come down to the games like always. |
Yeah, it looks better than the WiiU, Power wasn't the WiiU's problem so this being only marginally more powerful isn't an issue for me. It's all gonna come down to the Lineup now! I'm optimistic.
Though they better not delay MK9 because the Switch can run MK8. T_T

Ok so it probally was 2k on the trailer. So the game announcments can begin I guess.
| GribbleGrunger said: I'm not sure about this. Those controllers look small and it appears as if you'll need to purchase another controller to play on your TV, or am I seeing that wrong? I thought the two side controllers would *snap* together to form one controller. edit: it looks like they do. |
There's a base pseudo-controller section that you can snap both of the controller ends into.

Logic prediction - we won't how it'll sell until pricing, launch games and full features are revealed. |
You can actually - you just have to look at who they are marketing it to.
