That's some silly logic you're employing mate, Mario Maker is a creation kit where you share your creation with others it's not just a 2d platformer like you're trying to claim, it focuses on people creating and sharing and not solely on platforming so yes it's a new IP.

If you relly expecting that NX will be traditional console like PS4/XB1, get ready for some disappointment.

No it is a new IP because the platforming element is not the focal point of the whole game, the creation and sharing element is so again that's silly logic.

Yeah, umm... The "outraged moron" tone of the post was meant to be taken as sarcasm.
Obviously her eminently reasonable claims can't have been proven one way or the other, barring a reveal of the device.
Thus the absurdity of the poster I was quoting using that claim as rationale to doubt her leaks.
Thus the double absurdity of doubting a leak saying Nintendo will release a "weird, fun, and crazy" game and a new Mario game.
I mean, can somebody even try to give specific reasons why those are unlikely to occur? That isn't even a rumor, it's just obvious.
Oh wait... I got REAL DEAL insider information... Get ready... Nintendo will release another Mario game!!! You heard it here first!!!
