I guess you aren't familiar with what the NPD is.

The pro was most likely made to compliment the vr since the PS4 won't be able to draw as much power out of it. More people will buy the pro for the non vr games though.

Microsoft has October on lock but November and December will definitely go to the PlayStation solely on platform and little to do with actual exclusives. Dead rising launches in December for Xbox and that won't do anything to save them from the pro launch which has competitive pricing to the ps4 itself.

Xbox is just getting started.

By how much are they out selling the PS4 in the US? 1k, 2k?

Yeah I never understood why people gloat when Xbox beats PS in the US. Like, the US is the Xbox's home turf, but that's really the only place it beats PS4 other than the UK. the REST of the world votes, and as mentioned, it's still a 2:1 win for Sony this round.

I love the "America is all that counts" mentality.

Personally, I WISH they were closer in overall sales. I have a Ps4, WiiU and Xbox One all lined up on my desk in front of my TV, I play the PS4 almost exclusively, only breaking WiiU out for Zelda, Smash, and Virtual Console games while my Xbone has gotten maybe 50 hours of total use in the year and four months I've had it. BUT, gears 4 looks awesome, and reviews have been positive. That'll be a reason to turn it on again.

Even if they lose November NPD, they'll have probably the best holiday sales they've had since launch. I'm pretty confident about that.
