I honestly had no idea who would win before May of last year (when I first visited this site).

It's not over yet.

I'm not going to lie to you, I hope the Wii is going to win, because I was bored of console gaming last gen, and the Wii changed it for the better for me.

And while it's very probable that the Wii is going to win, I'd wait until next christmas. If Wii manages to win next christmas too, there's no denying Wii will dominate console sales for the rest of the generation. We'll see.

don't take it too hard.. people used to get digitally crucified for even suggesting wii was amongst the high ranks of either ps3 or 360.. turns out they were right, but for the wrong reasons :P

That´s the way it is,no one stays on top forever.....Atari was king,then fell and Nintendo became the king,then they fell and Sony became the king,now they´ve also fallen and Nintendo is once again the leader,someday they´ll fall again to make way for ????? 

The common talk from a few years ago was that SONY could not possibly keep the extremely high market share of the PS2. I saw the high priced PS3 as more of a new "NUON for Blu-ray" whereby SONY cashed in some of their market share (due to high price), but got a leg up in the video market.

As I see it, Ken K's downfall wasn't the high priced PS3, but that he didn't foresee the Wii.

While I may be wrong now, I will not be wrong in 6 months, when the PS3 will have sold an extra 26m consoles due to the effect of MGS 4.....

Wii could still lose actually - but i seriously doubt it

Lesson that sounds really simple,but it´s often ignored....never underestimate your competitors,no matter how successful you´ve been.

When i saw the Wii [Revolution at the time] i think that was so freaking awesome...that i lost my faith on PS3
Hope to regain some day the faith on it, maybe when all the big guns are out
