Show proof of that rumor. Because right now your source is trust me bro.

Edit: Not Dave Meltzer, just heard it from here - so not a rumor (used the wrong word), just a guess I suppose: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=byrJ86oRePU

The actual rumor is his contract is set to expire this year.

Even if he could, I don't see Tony cutting him. Especially in such a way that he'd be able to go to WWE right away. I think he's work a lot more to Tony than to H.

Yeah, I dont think there's much value for him in WWE either.

Apparently WWE now owns AAA wrestling. O_O... Dunno if that's really a good development for the industry.

Would be nice if they made AAA run on its own as a separate show or something like NXT at the minimal. Management and financial control needed to be changed.

This has been kind of meh so far. Jey Uso vs Gunther was what you'd expect. Pretty good, not great. New Day vs War Raiders was like a pretty good Raw main event. Jade Cargill did some super impressive moves... but she's not good enough for a match that long.

Still a long ways to go. And another night. So hopefully they turn it around.

Jacob Fatu vs LA Knight was way better than I expected. Surprisingly good chemistry between the two of them. It was a weird pseudo face vs face dynamic that could have been awkward, but it worked here. Best match so far.

Really straightforward clean matches so far. I could go for some shenanigans right about now.

El Grande Americano vs Rey Fenix was really good considering it was a last minute change. Luckily the story line made sense to swap in another Lucha. Surprising to see Fenix lose his like 3rd match.

The last couple of matches have been good but it just kind of doesn't feel... mania-ish. Just doesn't feel as big as it should.

The main event was as great as you would expect with the parties involved. The ending was certainly unexpected. It does feel a little like a swerve for the sake a strickland, but we'll see how they adjust it. Either way was a good triple threat that had me on the edge of my seat.

Overall though. This was a good PLE but not a good Wrestlemania. It just lacked the big moments we've come to expect. No really unexpected finishes, surprises, returns, debuts, and aside from the last, no really great matches. Even the entrances were kind of meh aside from Tiffany Stratton's.

The nice thing about the two night Mania format though is that if night one is a bit underwhelming, you only have to wait one night for the next Mania. Hopefully that will be a bit more sports entertaining.

Didnt feel like a wrestlemania type of night until the main event.

Cody turning heel and joining forces with the rock and cena. Cena allowing himself to be finished by cody , twice in a row, seems a little off. I think cena's words will get to cody. Or possible being played already.

The rock with his 3 finger gesture. First it was 2 and we got cena. The third might be cody.

Cody's gonna turn heel eventually, just not tomorrow.

Forgettable first day. The main event was good. I think most of us saw heyman switching to seth. But good match. I expect tomorrow will be better overall.

Yep - sadly the WHC title match wasnt seen as a big match - overshadowed by the main event (which was obvious)

Yeah the Heyman turn was obvious but the best way to go.

Charlotte vs Tiffany and the Triple threat were my favourite matches of the night.

Probably the best Wrestlemania match for each of the three in their careers. I’d say by a long shot for Roman with last year’s being a distant second. One of the very best Wrestlemania matches that didn’t involve any sort of a title. I can’t even think of one that’s better right now. It was surprisingly good on storytelling the way Angle & Rousey vs Triple H and Stephanie was. And all three of them were showing off better athleticism than they’d shown in years, for CM Punk, maybe more than he has in over a decade. And the storytelling was more than just the match plot, but the external elements dealing with Paul Heyman, it was very much a Wrestlemania 17 feeling moment which itself was just a good draft of the Wrestlemania 2000 main event featuring more evenly supported characters - Wrestlemania 2000, no one cared whether anyone other than The Rock won, and The Rock didn’t win. What they failed to realize that year was Triple H wasn’t the champ, he was the obstacle between the true champ and his belt - but, in the end, I think the delay of that massive victory to Backlash made that PPV feel more special than it had ever felt, and it’s would be interesting to see it as a proper sequel to Wrestlemania again.

For Charlotte, Charlotte vs Asuka still tops her list. And for Tiffany, this is just the beginning. But again, this match had some great storytelling in it compared to the other matches on the card. Also, both competitors are quite athletic, although Charlotte’s not using all her moves anymore. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing - Randy Orton is a great example of a wrestler who slowed down his style substantially, and is putting on significantly more exciting matches now than he did 10 years ago.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

He'll renew. He has so much freedom in AEW and is valued backstage to the locker room and TK. He doesn't offer WWE much. Why he left in the first place.

O_o... Dude. Tiffany Stratton vs Charlotte was not even in the same league as Charlotte vs Rhea. Either time, but especially the second time. Literally one of the best matches in Mania history.

Loved the main event, but I think there are quite a few better mania matches that didn't involve a title. Flair/Michaels, Michaels/Angle, Hart/Austin, Hart/Hart, HHH/Taker, Michaels/Taker.

You're entitled to your own favourites. But comments like "Tiffany Stratton vs Charlotte was not even in the same league as Charlotte vs Rhea" are just foolish.

Looking at the card for tonight's WM Night 2.

I'm only excited for the main event.
