I'm on a mid-90s kick

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

One of my top 3 songs of the year

I really like this album, folklore.

My top albums for this year:

Grimes - Miss Anthprocene - clever album title, and a lot of different genres on it, and they all seem to make sense together. She's been promoting this one for a while with the first promotional track dropping in 2018, an Industrial Rock song called We Appreciate Power (or "something that sounds like post-Nu Metal" - as I have heard it described multiple times - for people who are too young to know what Industrial Rock is), unfortunately only made the deluxe for some regions, not the actual album... but I listen all digital anyway, so it doesn't really matter.

The Weeknd - After Hours has my top song of the year (Blinding Lights), but I already posted that one earlier, so I'll post this one instead:

Anticipating the upcoming Miley Cyrus album. I always liked her outgoing style, but didn't really get into her music until this song

Lady Gaga's Chromatica - she's returned to 2005-2010 club style music, I dig. Although, my favourite album by Lady Gaga is still ArtPop - most don't really like that one.

Megan Thee Stallion's Suga - She's a newcomer, I really like her flow, reminds me a lot of late 90s and early 2000s hip hop. She's like a female Too Short or Eazy E influenced by Biggie Small and Lil Kim with a dash of Nicki Minaj.

I like this music, except the Gaga album, sounds cheap and dated.

Technically, they all have a dated sound except for Grimes.

One of the rare modern disco-house songs that, as far as I can tell, does not sample any old disco hits.

Mi Reina, como te extraño.

Karate!

That whole Dogg Pound debut album was good. I bought it with ever having heard a single note, and the confidence in it proved to be warranted. Still have the CD I bought in 95'

I love everything about this. The music. The bagpipes. And the dancing. Oh my the dancing. These kids are getting their Charlie Brown gang on.
