I think rather it has to do something with you as an individual. Either you have become bored with this tipe of game, you came with too high expectations or your mind unconsciously compares it with the Bloiodboorne Victorian setting and world, which you just might prefer over the medieval tipe of Dark Souls setting.

I love the setting. Love the dragons and the epic intro. But every character type feels light, no weight to them. The level design is unimpressive and the menu is just a big plain old mess. The health system in BB was masterful and the weapons a delight to try and master. But mostly the level design.

I like the game, but my biggest problem with it is that it doesnt really have its own identity. It feels like the game is pasted together with parts of previous Souls games.
