It has a VR headset apparently. The rumor is really complicated, lol. 

3DSwap I will say if that's it, is pretty much the dumbest fucking name they could have chosen.

I get the feeling that the whole thing will be a convoluted mess that the average consumer won't like. Nintendo needed to keep their message simple.

Who knows, it could be refering to the way you can swap the devices.
Remember how they presented the next Mario game and said they've taken it one step beyond 3D, into 4D? Then it turned out, 4D just meant 4 players.

Okay, but do we know if this trademark is for hardware or software? Because it could always be some sort of program for the 3DS, maybe to connect to the NX family somehow. Of course, if it's hardware and it turns out to be the NX, they will show an amazing lack of foresight, and they wouldn't have learned nothing from the WiiU.

I've never been so trolled in my life. I really thought Nintendo had come up with some crazy form of 4D.
It was Reggie on stage saying that btw, regarding New Super Mario Bros.

Not sure what you mean, but the presentation showed all the mainline Mario games. He described how Mario moved in 2D in Super Mario World, and could move between foreground and background. Then in Mario 64 Mario could move in full 3D. And then he said something to the effect of "Now we've taken mario one step beyond, into 4D".
