It's a fake rumor that someone made up, Nintendo has filed for no such trademark. 

So I guess ... it doesn't matter if its 3D Swap or 3DSwap or 3DSSSSSSwappppppydooood.

If this is true then https://twitter.com/Noahfromfuture is legit. Or he's just rolling the hoax ball. He broke news of the 3DSwap on the 16th and claimed that it's the portable console of the NX.

Nintendo will apparently employ a 1-2-3 marketing scheme for the platform family.


To me this makes me think the portable console will be cheap and accessible. It will hook up to a TV and play on it's own and it's power level will likely be around the Xbox 1 mark, maybe a little weaker. The NX home console will likely be sitting somewhere between the PS4 Pro and the Scorpio.


I'm excited. I'm thinking the cheaper 3DSwap will be released first. It's the cheaper alternative and sounds more family friendly than the it's speculatively more expensive brother.
