The vector display is magical, and despite only using primitive shapes, still wows me more than some modern games.

This becomes one of those hugely subjective questions and will fall on what games people value more. I think if one uses ratios of exclusives to total games the PC / Wii U combination is very good but if you don't care for those games, it's not that good. Then there is the argument of why not buy more consoles... but cost can be a burden in many cases so it's fair we look at dual combination.

Matters some people yes, for me naw. Because of halo lol. But the exclusives on microsoft and sony consoles are more fun to me than nintendo exclusives.

I'll take the Nintendo side of the argument but not PC. PC being all digital=me not caring. I'm not spending money on an invisible file that lives on a hard drive or some server which I don't even own.

It affects all owners and is usually due to inept devs. There's no troubleshooting to do. On the other hand, a game can have a multitude of issues of issues that specific to one owner's PC. That's the big difference. I just got tired of PC gaming. |
Love it. The goal post shifting. Haha
Basically what you are saying is that: On console if you have bugs it's the fault of the dev, on PC it's the fault of the PC and that makes it acceptable on console.
But, no. You're wrong. So very wrong and no it's not acceptable.
The Xbox One when it launched had a terribly buggy interface, the controllers themselves have even had a few updates to improve things and remove issues.
You should try a moden PC in a modern software environment, you might just walk away pleasently surprised.

Did you actually read that list? |
Sorry, I was just showing you where I got the 300 number from. No, I didn't read the list because I don't really care, I said my peace regarding this topic in my first post. I just happened to check back and see people throwing around imaginary numbers and thought that was silly, we have the internet, just look it up if you care that much to get into an argument online.

Nailed it. It's pointless to argue over.
Personally I game 95% of the time on PC, and occassionally on a console. Last substantial time spent with a console was GT5 on PS3. I am interested in UC4, and maybe Horizon. I like Nintendo stuff with the mainline Mario games. Haven't cared for Zelda since SNES. Like Kart, don't care for Smash.
But I wouldn't try to say my preferences are right for anyone else, and it's a fool's errand arguing about anything like this.
Mehhh, it's super subjective. Whatever exclusives from a company + PC sound like a great combination, except for Xbox of course, cause they don't seem to have console exclusives anymore.

Yes most of my JRPG's are on consoles (But i play most of them on PC thanks to emulation). JRPG is one of my fav genres. Anyone who knows me knows this to be true. This is how i play my console games on PC and also where the biggest part of my JRPG collection is.
Thats just some of my PS1+2+PSP games collection that i have stored on my PC. My Steam jrpg collection will grow also no fear of this. If you look at my wish list you will see many many jrpg's added to it that im just waiting to buy Plus i plan on buying a PS4Pro for the JRPG's thats not released on Steam |
Yeah all games you have not payed for,
and if you really would want having these JRPGs on PC you would have bought some of them by now instead of Fallout 4, there are plenty of JRPGs and japanese type games on steam
Considering I have not really liked a Nintendo 1st party game since SNES days i'd have to say for me no. My choice (if I had to only buy one console, which I don't) would be PS4+PC. In fact the PROs of a console are enough for me that quite a few games that sell on the PC I get for PS4 instead.
Don't get me wrong, I do buy the argument for most people it's a clear choice to go with PC for multiplatform games unless you really do have a pathetic PC. But sometimes it really is good to buy that PS4 metal case collectors edition to display on your shelf. Steam doesn't provide anything like that.
