Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

I really like the character developements in FF7... so...

Ezio from Assassins Creed, and Joel and Ellie from Last of Us are both good shouts.

I'd add Tali and Mordin from the Mass Effect trilogy (assuming you keep them alive for as long as possible!).

Also The Nameless One from Planescape Torment. The whole game is centered around his development, especially as you can talk your way out of virtually any fight.

It got to be Tommy Angelo from Mafia.

Deus Ex (2000) - a game that pushes the boundaries of what the video game medium is capable of to a degree unmatched to this very day.

Speaking of Ezio, I would like to finish Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag and move on to the next one but it has a fatal bug in a main quest mission and I can't get pass it.

Congrats to you 20.000th post.

Wow, I didn't notice that. Thank you!

That's kinda hard to say since there's a lot of games with excellent character development. I'll go with a more recent one, mostly Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE since that game feels like 'Character Development: The Game'. It happens quite literally and it's just overall nice to see where the characters start and how they end up by the game. Their growth is overall a joy to see.

Cant wait to play tokyo mirage, still trying to finish the witcher 3, deus ex and ac syndicate
