Except it wasn't, did he not see sales numbers?? Sony are making bank off of the back of this and yet it's Hello Games who nobody trusts going forward.

Wish people would bother with reading more than a thread title or some quotes that someone decided to take from an article (sometimes in order to push a certain agenda).

"I am super happy with the game actually, and I'm amazed with the sales the game has gotten, so I'm not the right person to judge if it has 'harmed' the PlayStation brand. I personally don't think so. If anything, I am proud that people can play No Man's Sky on PS4 as well as PC"

Wasn't Sony working really close with the Devs at NMS? They even stated there treating NMS as one of there major AAA games. Sounds like a good finger pointing to me.

Don't see anything wrong with what Yoshida said. It's pretty much what it is. Sean Murray said what he said and we are where we are. Hello Games said the game will be something that it isn't and now we are all living with the consequences.

The problem Sony have is they published the game and they haven't helped deal with the issues or be transparent about them. Whether it's their responsibility or not they could have said something sooner and have helped minimise the shit storm by creating a road map with clarification, but both the developer and publisher have failed to do this.

They didn't publish the game so they would have had little or no part in that.

It might be selfpublished on PSN but the physical copies at retail were published by Sony.

Helping the devs with coding and Sean Murray making promises he can't keep are two different things.

It's like Fable. MS may have helped code it, the devs did their bit, but it's not MS 's fault Peter Molyneux would over promise and under deliver.

At least he is honest.

No.

"Sony has been super cool to work with, but mainly just because they haven't been involved in development, you know?"

"Sony offered to provide development funding but Hello Games only requested financial assistance for promotion and publication."

Hunting Season is done...

based on the sales, money will not be an issue. at least for a good little while.

psn- tokila

add me, the more the merrier.

No one told Sean Murray to lie about features that were not going to be in the game. He even contradicted himself in interviews prior to the games release about being able to mess around with your friends online and then to say the chances of seeing another person on a planet are extremely rare.

Better question is where is Murray? Still hasn't addressed the community.

He. Doesn't .Care.

PC I i7 3770K @4.5Ghz I 16GB 2400Mhz I GTX 980Ti FTW

Consoles I PS4 Pro I Xbox One S 2TB I Wii U I Xbox 360 S

Even Sony is not happy with No Man's Sky lol

This coming from someone as polite and nice as Yoshida is a slap on the face

Where are the Sean Murray and NMS defenders now? xD
