I have both a PS4 and a PC. The only advantage for console (IMO) is that I can play FPS games online with a controller and be on the same level as everyone else. On PC I'm forced to use a mouse and keyboard if I want that and I hate using mouse and keyboard.

Which FPS games force you o.O - every FPS game I played has controller support but I still use mouse and keyboard since it felt awkward playing a shooter with a controller lol.

If I'm playing on PC almost everyone is going to be using a KB&M so they'l have a distinct advantage over me because I'll be using a controller. On PS4 I don't have to worry about that. I'm also looking into getting some sort of tray that I can have a mouse and keyboard on while I'm on the couch but will see.

Oooh I see - ya.

I just cant play a FPS or a TPS game with a controller. I struggled so much on Resident Evil 5 when I played with my controller.

I gave up at the beginning of the first level in Left 4 Dead 2 when I tried a controller too - it just felt awkward which is why I never buy FPS/TPS games on consoles. Keyboard+mouse is the way to go at least for me.

Yea I always used to be a keyboard mouse guy too. After I started working in IT though I had such a hard time using a keyboard and mouse to game when I got home. It just ruined the experience. I guess my body felt like "hey this is like work, stop this!". Switched to consoles after that. Now with the whole mid gen upgrades I've decided I might as well game on PC. Got everything on my PC working just like a console except for this one thing. I'm looking going back to mouse and keyboard for FPS games but it'll take some time to get that going. Until then I'll be using my PS4.

I remember having some difficulty for years back with CoD and the like on the P23/360, but the past few years of using a K+M has me sticking with them. There is no way I can go back to using a gamepad for FPS titles, even for some third party ones.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

Ah - its the opposite for me lol

I got my first PC for my 8th birthday and from there I just got used to it after going through keyboard typing class in elementary, middle and high school along with having me writing statements for work, medical, lawyers, etc for my friends and family for years lol

I got into emulation as well when I was younger so that helped me a bit.

I'm in the IT field too - sucks that I have to bring my keyboard to work since they use ergonomic keyboards which are a pain to me -.-. Other than that, being on a PC doesnt bother me at all whether its for work or for play. I probably work (video production wise) more than actually playing when I'm at home xD.

Nowadays I play RTS, Strategy, Point & Click, FPS and TPS games with my mouse and keyboard while I use my xbox360 controller or my Dualshock 4 for RPGs, Fighters, Racing, action and platformers simply because those genres I'm just used to playing with a controller after being on consoles for so long.

Same here. I tried but it just felt weird and my reaction time was way off to the point where my online friends were like "Forget the damn controller, just use your mouse and keyboard" xD.

Yep I've actually just started using the steam controller for point and click type RPGs and it's been really really awesome. I'm almost done with Pillars of Eternity (which has been amazing BTW) and it's been awesome using the steam controller.

I should make more videos of L4D2 but with mods.

I think I'll do that once I finish up my Super Mario Marathon.

Do it! More L4D2 with mods is always a good thing.

Indeed. Do something like this on consoles!.

Everyone deserves a chance to kill Teletubbies in Left 4 Dead 2!

Hey, now that I have thousands of powerful PoisonGrip Arrows after killing that mad and greedy killer Golena Sadri in Tribunal, I'd like to have the chance to painfully kill Teletubbies in Morrowind too!!!

I would like to add: PC: higher system specs higher the graphics, steam, better controls at FPS games, good for one person Console: Exclusives, no need to fix graphics, better controls at moving, can feel better the movement of the character like its your own (for me)
