Yeah right, it's for your 80s porn collection from your teenage days. Let it go, bush is out of fashion these days.

Hang on to that sentiment.  You'll see... :::TO BE CONTINUED:::

You should build a moat!

The answer to your problem is simple:

mount the TV and get ready for a while ride with a lot more space.

You sure are liking to do clickbaits recently, aren't you?

Not when the content is legit.................

Pictures everyone!

The A/V set in the "Alcove" is here:

Just don't let Bowser bite you.

I thought about putting the PS4 Pro shown below in place of the PSTV:

Not gonna happen.  And I can move the PSTV to the living room with the Wii if I have to.

Looking back at the first pic, the PS4 Pro can go either side of the center channel speaker.  In fact, my PS3 Slim (not the Super Slim shown) was to the right of the speaker.  I believe the PS4 Pro could go on either side.  I just need to do a little rearranging.

3 things:

1) you spending all this money on gear yet you won't buy a decent home for the gear?!

2) if it's too big, then put some effort in and stretch it out.

3) get something like this maybe.

Also, I refuse to believe the VCR is there for Dr Who. If it was you would have slowly bought the DVD collection of the old ones. Pic or we know it's your vintage Bukake collection and your signed copy of animal farm :p

Now to address the VCR "issue..."

As you can see, these are my media shelves, and there is a Blu-Ray/DVD Doctor Who section.  It's above the shelf with the LEGO Cars.

But look what happens when I pull those those Blu-Rays away:

So, now you (and everyone else) know.  FYI, behind the PS3 and PS2 games were stuff like more Doctor Who VHSs, DVDs we didn't feel the need to upgrade.

About my entertainment center, I love it.  It was made by Sanus (www.sanus.com/en_US/) which makes some high quality sturdy stuff.  What I have is the "Accurate" line of stands which was once discontined, but I think it's back.  I like the style, but maybe I didn't take the best picture of it.

When I get my PS4, I'll have it in it's new home for all to see.  You can be sure of that.

EDIT: To address SWORDF1SH's porn comment,  It was hard to obtain VHS porn in the 1980s when you're living under mama's roof.  1990s VHS porn is another story not for this thread.

Buy small drawers and put your PS controllers in the drawer next to the TV stand. Move that speaker over a little and then you can put the PS4 where your 2 controllers sit now.  You can also plop that old Mac on top of the drawer and slide a chair up to it.

I use a small drawer next to my TV stand.  Top drawer for controllers, middle and bottom drawers for games.  Of course it can't hold all my games but a decent amount.

All you've just proven is that you skillfully hid the 80's porn collection with Doctor Who cassette covers so mama couldn't find it lol :p
