I have a similar problem. My shelf isn't very deep, my XB1 already hangs out about 3 inches over the edge, and PS4 Pro is several inches longer than XB1 is, so I fear enough of it may stick over the edge that it will be at risk of tipping over the edge. I may have to get the vertical stand and turn it sideways if I do decide to get PS4 Pro.

For now, no vertical stand for me.  My space is to tight for it to stick straight up.

Super glue it to the back of your TV

What about under the stand if it's on legs?

I thought about that in general, but I don't want it looking too ghetto.  Knowing me, it won't, but I'll probably spend more money that I should to get it looking nice.

You sure are liking to do clickbaits recently, aren't you?

Not when the content is legit.................

Pictures everyone!

The A/V set in the "Alcove" is here:

Just don't let Bowser bite you.

I thought about putting the PS4 Pro shown below in place of the PSTV:

Not gonna happen.  And I can move the PSTV to the living room with the Wii if I have to.

Looking back at the first pic, the PS4 Pro can go either side of the center channel speaker.  In fact, my PS3 Slim (not the Super Slim shown) was to the right of the speaker.  I believe the PS4 Pro could go on either side.  I just need to do a little rearranging.

Hey, why don't you hook the router and the directv box against the wall.

I would make some drastic changes. Even though i am too OCDish to put anything on the same surface I put my TV. But you've got options.

1. Move the TV forward and and have the PS4pro set up vertically behind it. While this will completely put it out of view it can be set up in a way that you still have easy access to the disc bay and USB ports by placing it on the left side of the TV (basically your left when looking at it)

2. take the sub from the right of the TV and place it on the left, then stand your PS4pro vertically on it. That way the speaker acts as some sort of pedestal for the Pro.

3. move your center channel, This can be done in two ways a) you move the whole stand forward by about 3 inches then mount the center speaker just behind the TV on the wall. If done right you will be able to see it in the gap under the tv between the base of the tv and the top of the stand. b) throw out the VCR player and put the center speaker in its place. that will vacate enough room for you to put all ur other devices in the compartment the center speaker is in and leave the too of your TV stand looking clean.

4. Mount the TV on the wall.....
