Let's go Hillary. Let's push the Supreme Court to a liberal majority.

That is something I fear. I do want homosexuals to be happy, marry and have freedom of decision. But I fear that christians will start to be arrested if the liberals take full charge. Not you, of course, but I see a lot of extremism in the left LGBT. Not live and let live, but hatred against christianity.

I think gays should be allowed to marry and everything, but I should not be arrested if I refuse to participate in the ceremony. The middle ground is important, faith is very important to many people. As important as the sexual preference is to the homosexuals.

The perfect world should be half liberal and half conservative, granted, one more for the liberal to garantee that gays suffer not from unfair opression.

But we should not be persecuted for believing the Holy Bible either, specially because real christianity says that mercy triumphs over judgement (James 2:13), which means that even if we do not think that homosexuality is a beatiful thing, we christians have the obligation of love and have patience over everyone.

Of course, we fail in that quest most of the times, we are only human, but that is what is required of us.

Anyways, I fear what a liberal majority would cause to us believers. We even have prophecies about what will happen when the whole world hate us because of Jesus.

It would be nice if they both Trump and Hilary were both diagnosed with some kind of illness that would make them both have to drop out. Unfortunately that's not going to happen and Hilary is likely going to landslide Trump.

Left wing policies are objectively hurting this country and I think the average citizen knows that, but the narrative of republicans being evil and racist wins many votes for the dems regardless. I literally don't tell people I want Trump to win because 9 out 10 times it will turn into a discussion about racism. Actual discussion of policies just gets an eyeroll or scoff, that's too deep for the average left wing voter I run into.

Right-wing policies can be as equally as dangerous, heck our biggest history lesson there is Hitler and the Nazi Party.
The best place to trend is when both the right and the left have relatively equal power so that policies trend in the middle and it's good having both sides around in a debate so you can see both sides of the coin so you can make the best possible decision.

With that said, I would dread seeing Trump win, I hope my country makes stronger ties to China rather than the USA in that instance.

I don't think republicans are pushing anything Nazi's were about. They were a socialist party and toalitarian so maybe the democrats relate to them more.

Extreme right wing just doesn't make much sense in my eyes these days, its just not what republicans are about. While extreme left wingers have essentially become commies.

I don't get how either of them are president worthy. I look at Canada's president and he looks pretty genuine (as far as politicians go anyway) and then I look at the 2 possible candidates in the US and I feel like that wall idea isn't such a bad idea. How did this happen?

Democrats do have a possibility of taking back the senate. All that said I think I'd rather deal with Trump then his VP choice, Pence. So a possible Trump impeachment doesn't really add any layer of protection for an awful 4 years.

what is wrong with Pence?

Do you mean other than his continuous attacks on women's rights, lgbt rights? Should I quote how his state was rated the worse in economic growth within the midwest in 2014? Or do you mean how not even his own state likes him with an approval rating of only about 40%?

by women's rights do you mean abortion? I honestly think in a 200 years we will look back at abortion as the sin of our time much like we look at slavery as a major sin from 200 years before us. Our decendents will judge us for it, buildings will have to be renamed at university because it was named after a known abortion support.

Some people will argue it was a nessessity of the time to control population growth, but will still condemn the means.

See this to me makes barely any sense. Every member on the court religion is either Roman Catholic or Judaism (when this in no way reflects how vastly diverse America is when coming to one's religion or lack thereof).

Trumps Xenophobia alone can be compared with the Nazi Party, the Nazi's were very Pro-German, Pro-Aryan and Anti-Everything else, they were loosing Jobs, Economy was stalling and people were dissapointed with how the last war played out, which is what partly helped that party to get into power.
Trump instills a very similar rhetoric, but attempts to cover it with smooth talk.

That doesn't mean he is going to be anything like Hitler or the Nazi Party though and it doesn't make him wrong either, but the point is that leaning far right is just as dangerous as being far left to a country, the best place to be is right in the center.

Ironically even in Australia we have a Politician named "Pauline Hanson" who drums similar rhetoric to Trump, although she is less tactful with her words.
The UK had a big Right-wing win with Brexit as well.
Seems there is a big political paradigm shift in the worlds political stage from Left to Right, it will be interesting to see how it all evolves over the coming years though.

I see, but you wanted a liberal majority, I am thinking about comon ground. We must find a comon ground, all around the world where homosexuals can live happy lives and christians are also not persecuted, like that couple from the bakery that did not want to catter a gay wedding. It is very important that, althought no one gets the whole cake, everyone is reasonably satisfied.

And actually sexuality is not what is the main theme, we should worry about firearms and drugs, cause the first step to take away people´s freedom is to take their guns. That is what they did in Brazil and Venezuela.

And about drugs, well, a intoxicated nation is a nation that do not care that much about what is going on.

By the way,  America should also worry about getting strong from inside again, like, having enough jobs and good education. You guys have an army that can destroy the whole world, but it seems to me that the liberals are trying to create a nation of people that needs the government for their basic needs, like food even. That is not good.

I am as right wing as it gets, I am a heterosexual born again christian that works nonstop since I was 13. So, yes, excuse me as I smile like it is going out of fashion...

So... what do you guys think?

Well, the biggest joke will be on the people who support Trump, so I guess everyone will be a yuuuuge looser in the end :).
