I don't know about that. And how do you measure such a thing? I think the Hillary supporters arguing lesser of two evils to Bernie's fans are making a terrible argument. And on the opposite end I think people arguing Trump as lesser of two evils are also making a terrible argument.

What, and a born again christian as the main force in your life, are the things you really care about? I think Trump's true attitudes (as opposed to the ones he claims to have) on subjects that are core to your values do not line up with yours. Especially on social issues, Trump is stringing along social conservatives. Do you want someone who say's he's pro-life but doesn't intend to actually do anything about it, and actually doesn;t carte about the issue, or someone who is at least open about being pro-choice? If we're talking about lesser evils I would think the person who is being most honest about their views on such an issue is the one to side with.

Oh, sure, he is a Las Vegas party boy probably. But the Left always try to anihilate everything I hold dear to my heart: family, freedom of religion, a safe infancy for the children, security for the hard working people, being in self defence and in the general rights as a individual, freedom of speech also...

You should seem the things they did here in Brazil, and specially in Venezuela.

I think going right is the best option right now, for the whole world.

Anyways, we will see what happens.

What?!? See this is funny because as an LGBT american, the right has constantly fought against my personal right to start a family and have used the freedom of religion argument to push the opposition. IF it isn't christianity, they aren't fighting for it and will fight you tooth and nail against it. You want the best for a nations children and then support a party that is fighting to shift funding away from public schools and to charter schools regardless that most of the nation's youth attends public schools and most private schools are religious in nature (so much for freedom of religion).

Trump offers nothing. Either way, sometimes we fall prey to our own prejudices a nd fear and for those people, Trump offers the last chance to take your country back (or away) from those who you have been taught to fear, hate, disparage, or whatever. But in reality, there is a reason he loses to educated white people... and everyone else who isn't an angry white male... and he will lose according to all available data. He is simply not presidential material and we don't want to build a damn wall. Educated people realize that a wall wont improve the quality of our lives. It is just a way to tap into racist group thought.

That is not fair man. Sure, a very small minority is formed of crazies and racists, but that is like 1%, maybe 2%, the real nutjobs. Most people just care about their families, values, security, stuff like that, but are not racists.

Every source of predictions and temp polls seem to suggest there is only a 30-40% chance Trump might win but a 60-70% chance that Hillary will win, hmmmm

I think most people underestimate how well a Republican candidate would have to do in order to win presidency now. They could be tied nationally but chances are even then Dems have the upper hand. Clinton only needs to win states that are already leaning left this go around. Trump would have to win every toss up state and then some.

The problem is that there's more than one kind or racism. Sure, only 1 or 2% of people are hardcore, Klan level racists. But there's a much larger group of people that fall into the "They're different and they make me uncomfortable" racism, or the "I'm fine with them, I just don't want my daughter dating one" racism or the "I try to avoid the hispanic looking cashiers at the grocery store" levels of racism.

and those people HATE Hillary Clinton.

Sorry to hear this, I hope you can start your family soon and with no restrictions.

But let me tell about what the Left tried to do here in Brazil. and be aware that some of what I will report to you will shock you, does not matter your sexual preference.

All of what I will report are laws the dominant Left passed or tried to pass here in Brazil in the last two years:

1 - Control of the media.

2 - Control of the education curriculum to ensure the Left is praised and the capitalism is viewed as a cancer.

3 - Limitation of religious freedom.

4 - Sex education for young children at age of 3 (yes, 3), with pornographic visuals and books.

5 - Sex changes to kids under 12 without the parents consent.

6 - Revision of the Holy Bibles to take away "offensive language".

7 - Further control of firearms (Brazil already has the most strict gun policy in the whole world).

8 - Limitations on the power of investigation of the judiciary system.

9 - Incentive to "sex games" among small children (I am talking 6 and under).

All of these initiatives under the "human rights" umbrella. That, my friend, benefits NO ONE. Not gays, not hetero, kids and sex do not mix. Sex is for adults, gay or otherwise.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

Might as well just call it over without any debates. Makes sense.

I know it was just a republican primary but trump killed it in Manhattan island, probably the densest location of well educated individuals in the world. The idea that intelligent people don't like Trump is bunk. Its what people who don't like trump tell themselves to make themselves feel like they are superior.

Also, just because you believe people should not be allowed to come into the country un-documented does not mean you hate them. Ever been to another country? Take Japan, you want to visit there you need to show up with your departure information ready to present.

You use alot of stereo types in general. Maybe Trump supporters feel the only people who support Hilary are angry minorities that feel they should have special priveledges.

I guess I am in the position where I am not attached to either side, so I don't get caught up in all the emotional BS that cause people to hate one side or the other. I don't get attached to public figures. I guess that is why I liked Romney, he was cut and dry, intelligent and did his best to stay away from emotional bs.

I have no comment on what is happening in Brazil as I haven't experienced it first hand. The only difference between me and you is I'm not picking a candidate that should become President of the other individual's country baised on my personal experience in my own country.

I don't think republicans are pushing anything Nazi's were about. They were a Fascist party and toalitarian so maybe the democrats relate to them more.

Extreme right wing just doesn't make much sense in my eyes these days, its just not what republicans are about. While extreme left wingers have essentially become commies.

1. The Nazis were a fascist party, and the party is largely considered far right-wing because it's basis in right-wing ideologies such as Nationalism, acceptance or even support of social inequality, a strong belief in traditional or "natural" morals (read: traditional values), a focus on stability and order, ect.

Now, of course not all people who identify as right-wing will hold all of these beliefs, and the Nazi party to many right-wing ideas to the extreme (hence, FAR right-wing). But they did hold many right-wing ideals.

2. Totalitarianism isn't inherentley right or left wing.

3. Democrats aren't inherentley liberal or left-wing (since the party has actually changed from right to left wing during it's history).

4. Your last bit doesn't make sense. You framed it as a comparison, but the first part states that far right-wing policies don't define republicans, and the second part simply points out that communism is a far left-wing political ideology.

They aren't two sides of the same coin. Heck, they aren't even the same currency.

Bottomline, the worst things about the Nazi part weren't the socialism, the nationalism, morals, etc. It was the genocide, racial stuff, world domination, etc. Which is neither left or right.

Pemalite essentially said extreme right wing policies lead to the Nazi party. Perhaps that was a stretch.
