Its all about how much the reviewers like the games. Fallout 3 was a mess, but it still got good reviews.

Fallout 3 is my most overated game of all time. That game was trash. It was repetitive, bland combat and full of bugs and glitches. Still got a lot of 10/10.

Its one of my favorite games of all time, so I cant really complain too much about the bugs.

So we now know the real reason why it's $40, not the bullshit reason MS gave us.

Come on now, since when does the price point has necessarily to be related with the quality of a game? it may be because the budget wasn't that high and they could profit even at that price. Lots of shit games sell for $60 or higher so..

You're right but I was referring to something else. Greenberg implies that's it's a AAA game with $60 of value but they priced it $40 because it's a new IP and they want to give it a chance to succeed.

Just played Recore and I must say, apart from some game breaking bugs which caused me to restart my Laptop, the game is actually pretty fun. The story and art style is something I'm enjoying so far. I don't think its a 63. It just needs a patch to polish up the game and fix some glitches. Apart from that, its everything I expected which isn't much from a new IP and for the cheaper price point, I don't think its a bad game. For those looking forward to playing it. Just ignore the reviews. (Note: I haven't finished the game yet)

Wouldn't the fact there there are game breaking bugs that make you have restart your "supposed" laptop - be even MORE of a reason to pay attention to the reviews?

That is saying something bad happened, but ignore anyone that says something bad may happen.

In the reviews iv seen, they had issues i havent seen and iv had issues they havent seen (Suppossibly) and im not sure if the XB1 version crashes like the PC version. Its not something that cant be fixed with a future patch. Yes game breaking bugs isnt great and i hate restarting my Laptop over little things like games however apart from the crash, i havent had or found any other issues with the game. It looks good and plays well and the story is something i am enjoying alot. Its not going to be for everyone but for the price i dont see an issue with it. Wait for it to drop down in price if you want to wait. At the moment im enjoying it. WIll see what i think once i finish it. I might change my mind.

Inafune setting records this year for worse rated games in 1 year?

many of the reviews mention that the start is actually good, maybe even great, but that at the end all of the "side stuff" becomes mandatory to advance and it becomes a chore having to backtrack so much

Definitely disappointing the game didn't perform as well review wise. It seems like whats mainly holding the game back from being great is performance issues, which can be patched, and some repetitiveness in having to grind to get to the next section. If I do decide to pick the game up, I'm going to wait for it to be patched up.

Doesnt seem to be an awful game, but its being destroyed nonetheless.

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

Yeah thats what im gathering because after playing though the first area i cant see how this game is getting 6s and 7s but ill wait until im closer to the end before i give my review on it. So far its great (Ignoreing the Bugs) and im enjoying the creative system and RPG elements in the game like upgrading your Bots and roaming around your ship etc.

Seems like a general opinion i've seen in a lot of the reviews is that a lot of people see that the game can be really good and has some really good stuff in it but sadly doesn't get to reach its full potential because it's brought down by some technical issues, especially on Xbox One, and some odd development choices that were made such as the locked progression areas where you need to backtrack to get more cores or how the gameplay can get a bit repetitive and the long load times on Xbox One.

I feel like the game could have been a lot better with a bit more development time. It wouldn't have been able to fix the gameplay being repetitive I don't think, but could have at least fixed the loading times and made the game look a bit more polished and maybe make the framerate a little bit better.

The Windows 10 version is almost at least at 70 on metacritic now, if you wanna look at it in a positive light since 70 isn't horrible by any means.

umm back to 64 with 32 reviews
