I'm pretty sure they were streaming for a subset of hardcore gamers and enthusiasts which is pretty much the opposite of the general public.

There is a device for people with no appreciation for visual quality and it's called PS4 slim.

I'm 100% sure that they were streaming it for the general public.  Unless the stream only worked for those with 10 platinum trophies or something, then it was streaming for the general public.  As in, everyone.

Really? As soon as entertainment is publically available it has to entertain everyone or it's no good?

I guess Pokemon is shit then because it's boring for people who don't like RPGs.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

I always found them to be boring. Even MS puts a lot more effort.

They are like trying to take it serious, which always make me laugh.

Iwata was very good at this.

That's kind of the thing too ... the "harder" you try the more forced you seem. It's like a politican who's trying too hard to be appealling, it usually ends up coming off the exact opposite way.

Like again look at Miyamoto at the Apple event yesterday, everyone is laughing and smiling.

That is one thing you have to give Nintendo ... they are fucking good when they want to turn on the charm. It's just that "it" factor that they have. Unfortunately it doesn't make up for a lot of their deficiencies in other areas.

Yep. That's why I really liked yesterday presentation at the Apple conference. It was happy and to the point. Not forced, not serious.

Another example was Chiko at the E3 2016 Treehouse.

Goodness. I guess it needed more puppets.

Interesting theory. I wouldn't say that, but if that's what you want

The ball is definitely in Nintendo's court now. Hopefully they'll capitalize on it.

They have zero interesting executives or characters that will translate well to puppets.

No one has executives that translate well to puppets, from what I've seen.

You're both wrong. Plank from ed edd and eddy would have been the purfect puppet for the ps pro event. Lol
