I see no mouse, keyboard, or OS. I don't see a drive (blu/dvd/4k) or a controller.

Seems quite minimum.

Stream OS is free, Should I inclide games as well I mean you need those for a console everyone has a mouse and keyboard laying around I mean even if not its 10$ added on.

No one needs a CD drive unless you live in an area with shit enet then in that case add another 10$

there is no proof that ps4 pro will have blu ray

even this horrible cheap cpu that i linked will outperform the ps4 pro's

"No proof" seems like a bit of an exaggeration, given at minimum we know it can play standard PS4 titles (which use blu-ray disks) :p Even if we did have literally no proof though, it'd hardly be an outrages assumption to make.

If you don't really like PC gaming, then go with PS4

A lot of games are being released for both PS4 and PC but there are still exclusives for PS4

Damn son, look at that rig! It can run both Uncharted and GT Sports at 60fps and 4k.

OT: dont fall for posts like this. If you want to get it why PC gaming is special get ready to pay 1000$ or more, otherwise go with a console. Thats the sour truth that the wast ajority of PC gamers simply do not want to accept. If you have money for both, go for both, but I guess thats not the case.

To be fair, PCs does have its own exclusives so exclusives are dependent on the taste of the user...

Also to be fair, you don't actually need $1000 either... While I don't agree with toot's build cause he is really squeezing it and omiting some things, the GPU that the ps4 pro has is a downclocked 480 which DF used to test their benchmarks of the Pro. So an actual 480 would perform similar to the ps4 Pro with the exception of some unoptimized games. I would say a $600-$650 usd PC should be able take on a ps4 pro. But certainly not a $400 one.

And both have advantages/disadvantages.

SOme of my all time favorite games are PC exclusives, I just wanted to point out that there are simply some AAA franchises that do not make it over (lets be honest, a whole lot of them) to PC. And yes, I also agree that you do not need a 1000$ PC to beat a PS4P. But IMO if you really want to get the best out of PC gaming, a more expensive rig is a must. Simply talking out of my own experience. Untill I had a stable job, I had to find thge cheapest solutions for PC-s. After having some cash to throw around, the experience was an eye opener for me. Just my 2 cents.

yea i was just showing an extreme cost saving example

you could buy used parts and easily beat the ps4 pro's price

Thats true.

thats true for any hardware being used, soon enough this year you will see PS4s being sold for 100$s

Why buy the weaker WiiU when you can buy the more powerful PS4 or XB1s? It's not like the franchises you grew up with and love makes any difference.

I already own the wii U.

I'd like to play some of the games I  missed out on this gen. PS4 pro looks like a device that'll satisfy me.

12/22/2016- Made a bet with Ganoncrotch that the first 6 months of 2017 will be worse than 2016. A poll will be made to determine the winner. Loser has to take a picture of them imitating their profile picture.

Definitely PS4 Pro.

There is just no way to build a pc for 400$ thats going to run games better.

This. People should stop pretending that price is a killer argument against PCs. There will never exist a PC with the same price/performance ratio of a console. Like there will never be a console with the same capabilities as a PC.

That said, give it a few years and PC will catch up again.

Exactly.

And in a few years the ps4 price will be even lower aswell so it will always be the best budget option.

Then the ps5 comes out and the cycle starts again.  You can see why console gaming remains relevant.  Just so easy and cheap to get into. No hassle.

Well if that is your budget. Obviously go for Pro. Heck go for PS4 slim as you'll need some money for PS Plus subscription.
