I think a sequel is pretty much guaranteed so it's a good idea to get people hyped for it.

Ugh, thread title made it sound like Splatfest were coming back, but it's just Japan only tournaments which does nothing for us. Also, what? "Nogami said the original plan for Splatfests was that they would run for one year only, but Nintendo was able to continue the Splatfests" They did only last for one year...
