Nope, nope. Totally wrong and not true. The majority were expecting WiiU to do better than PS4. I mean GAF had a thread with a title ''any reason why WiiU wont dominate in Japan''. And aside GAF this was everywhere. WiiU will dominate in Japan cause is the successor to Wii and that it's powerful enough to have games that run on PS3.

On this site, I don't care what happens on other sites, namely neogaf. Also you really ignored the important part of Rol's post all together, so I don't even know why I am bothering with you either.

No I am based firmly in reality.
A reality where android / iOS is dominating Japan gaming,
A reality where the handheld console market is much bigger,
And a reality where people were expecting a terminal decline for PlayStation home consoles.
In this reality, the ps4 is saying no to death and is challenging it's predecessor the ps3 which did respectable numbers. It's the only current gen console that's competing with it's predecessor. All others showing big declines.
It's a beast relative to the industry and market it sells in.

Completely irrelevant to my point. I was talking in the period after the ps4 launch. This in no way discredits that.

Nope, because reality is that it is not doing to hot because of those reasons you listed above. It is not beasting if the market shrinks, it is not beasting if sales(this means revenue, not units) are overall in decline, it is not beasting if you are beating the console that had problem launching. You are very much not reality, and you care only for the console wars. That is how it is, no one besides maybe Roku, thinks you are not about the console wars.

EXACTLY!!!!
It's like ok to say there was a period before it launched where people predicted 12m+ but you never see them post the Wii U prediction threads where they thought it was going to take over the world and sell insane amounts.

You do live in your reality, when I have said so many times that people thought Wii U was going to do 30 million plus (once in this thread already). I literally quote myself, ten times if you want. Stop playing this I am unbias victim here.

By that logic the 3DS wasn't a beast because it sold way less than the DS.
When I say beast it obviously means relative to the current market. Obviously.
This is a market where it's competitors are going to sell ~100k and less than 4m respectively.
To go on and sell 8m, 9m 10m+ is beastly. going by the current market.

Not referring to you. I'm referring to all those who don't but bring up the other predictions. and there are many. Funny you keep taking personal pot shots at me when I wasn't even referring to you. And I thought you said you were done. you must like dabbling in my reality, because it's as real as it gets.
