Well... He'd probably make more money off the video than the price of his computer anyways |
long term he will do if it gives him ten thousands of new subscribers he makes between 3-60k a month with youtube but people donate a lot of money aswell and he has thousands subs on twitch. (people were donating him the 60 bucks that he wasted on the PS4 game).

fixed.

I think we all know that most of the profit will come from the PS4. Having a broken PC version, will only give negative feedback to an otherwise good game. Even the online suffering from post launch glitches is doing very well considering there was no open beta. |
I think the original plan years ago was to release it on PC and maybe also consoles and then there came the flood or something like that. I doubt that PC wasn't their main platfrom they thought about back then. It's the platform whch fans of games in space use after all.
And I also believe most profit will come from the PC version. It had 220k concurrent players on Steam today (even though most couldn't really play it and stoppped it after some minutes) which means sales have to be insane on Steam and they get 70% of the revenue.
On PS4 most sales will come from the retail version where they get much less per sold game.

I fear, while for unrelated reasons, Final Fantasy XV will shate the same fate. |
You said unrelated but I'd like to point out the obvious anyways: At least FFXV won't crash on consoles :) If there's one thing Main console FF games are proficient in, it's having uninterupted gameplay, and they at least work.
Lube Me Up
I'm glad I didn't buy at launch. First of all waiting to see if the performance is fixed over the coming months via patches which I believe it will. and secondly I want to see if it plays much better on the neo which I'm getting.
And the third thing is it should be $30/40 on a sale by then. Win win for me. Hyped to play it, but I'm not paying full price for a frustrating experience.

it really is a shame too. i wouldnt have bought it at full price, and it doesnt look super exciting, but i would have loved to try it out at some point |
I think by the time it has a price you like, it'll be fixed already. Of course that's assuming they're planning to fix the game in a somewhat timely fashion. At least I'm hoping so, because I'm planning to get the game when it's cheap enough... assuming it's fixed by then.

Lol totally called it after I saw the PS4 release. So not only was your game completely overrated as some masterpiece that it isn't bit it doesn't even fucking run

Why do you feel the need to constantly undermine other people's opinions?
