Considering the time it released at, I think 5m is pretty good. A big drop for sure, but any game would have struggled if it released at the end of a gen.

So true, esoecially considering that Halo 5 released for the 360 stoujf the same time the XB1 was launched.
........ oh wait.
Had gt6 launched with the ps4....... What a monstrosity that would have been in sales..... Dunno why Sony didn't have them develop it for ps4

GT sport is a glorified prologue imo and it will sell 5-8m. GT7 should get those 10m+ sales. |
It's a legit game. GT Sport confirmed to have a traditional campaign and 400-500 remodeled premium cars. No standard.

I could point out something recently as well, but people will always play up their hardware of choice over the other one, just move along, but OT Gran Tusimo 6 are disappointing numbers in my eyes, since it did more like last Prologue, than a proper numbered entry.

Don't get me wrong. I also think that GT6 numbers were disappointing. I mean it's the only GT game I didn't buy. But that's cause I had already sold my PS3 and moved onto the PS4. Mind you, I Didn't even buy TLoU, GTA5 or tomb raider cause I was banking on there being PS4 versions of those games and I was right.
So yeah, that's one of the major reasons why GT5 sales were not as good. It launched at the worst possible time. So what's Halo's reason?

I will reply in PM or wall, since I don't want to get off topic.

-Small Xbox One install base
-Series fatigue

Install base isnt the reason, Halo 3 & Halo 5 each came out about 2 years after 360 & XBO launched and i believe XBO actually had a bigger install base launches aligned yet Halo 5 did much worse than Halo 3.

True, but it is a known fact that many Xbox gamers last gen have switched to the PS4.
I think I should have been more specific: Smaller Xbox One userbase interested in shooters
