SInce he's not keen on an Uprising sequel, I'd say he should work on a new IP! Come on Sakurai, show us what you've got!

I think he's working on a Kid Icarus sequel, even if I'd like HAL to be working on a 3D Kirby game using the Zelda: BotW engine

Believe it or not, Sakurai does have a Xbox game. It was Meteos.

I wish he was getting some rest. After all the work including his health problems that went into the Smash games with KI: Uprising sandwiched in between I wouldn't mind hearing that one of his proteges (he should hopefully have a few) would take over with him just advising on any new games in either of the above mentioned franchises that will hopefully get sequels sooner or later.

Believe it or not, Sakurai does have a Xbox game. It was Meteos.

I looked it up, and that's misleading.  Meteos was a DS game, then ported to XBLA.  Not only that, but it's not even really Sakurai's game (at least, not alone).  It was a collab game with a different studio (Q Entertainment) that definitely develops for other systems.
