I believe every version was having problems, mainly Steam and Xbox 360.
I never had any issues myself, but a lot of people were reporting problems, and it was a mess.
"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

That and possibly a very low care for quality

Just throw in the towel Telltale and switch to UE
The worst thing about this is going to be that framerate during QTEs I'd imagine. Mashing a button furiously while the console chokes up on you is going to make for some failed QTEs just because of performance issues, will be annoying to die to that.

If you do, I highly recomed Tales of Borderlands, is their best game along WD season 1 and Wolf Among Us, I actually liked it more than the later. |
Well I loved WD S1 and TWAU plus I liked TWD S2. So if I ever get that telltale itch again I guess I'll go for borderlands next.
I did a double take at the thread title to make sure I wasn't crazy. Easily Telltale's most broken release.

Leaked video from inside Telltale's quality control department...

This is why I now wait for the whole season to release before I even buy it now. Telltale is known for this and episodes are generally delayed too... The Wolf amoung us was the worst for delays.

To be fair Nintendo doesn't promise a great looking game and then slaps a huge downgrade onto you. Most Nintendo games look like the E3/original trailers shown to announce the game(except for games like Breath of the Wild).
Not just that, but Nintendo games are at least stable. I don't care if visuals need to be downgraded, but having a shaky framerate is ridiculous. Nintendo games are typically locked in at 30/60 fps at an understandable resolution.
Also, we don't have to worry about Nintendo chugging out a bunch of lazy games that's infected with DLC and gliches.
