Name two dual types that will be introduced in this gen
4) Fire/Poison and Fairy/Ice

Anyways, this looks so amazing. I'm really liking how they're changing the formula with no gym battles, I can't wait to see how that plays out. I think the Alola forms are actually really cool, especially Ninetales. Z-moves seem a little random though. And Gumshoos is literally Trump.

Obligatory "Still no Dolphin!?" response.

Hmm, I don't know about Z moves, seems like it just powercreeps the game even further.
Also is there going to be a special and physical variation for each type, cause otherwise that'll be unfair to many Pokemon. Everything else is straight up awesome though, and I'm really interested in seeing how the island challange works differently from the typical 8 gyms set-up.

The very first thing that came to my head. Why even have beginner moves like Water Gun and Ember at this point?

Sadly, there are 2 reasons for Z-moves. For washy wooshy super cool animation *ooh graphics and particle effects* thing. And the worst part, they're selling an accessory toy that reacts to the moves from the game. Yes, they're selling a toy in real life that will *beep* when you use a Z-move in the game. So coolio, yo.

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

Z-moves: Because mega evolution wasnt dumb enough.

Ice-Steel Sandslash: Because he needed 2 x4 weaknesses.

Besides that, everything was great. I like the idea of Pokemon changing depending on where they live (but seriously, Fire type Sandslash! Not Ice...), and I love Exeggutor but I hate Exeggutor. Riding Pokemon is cool, new Pokemon are cool, Donald Trump is cool as a Pokemon, no gyms could be cool (still need to know more about it). Z-moves are dumb though. But Gen 7 is still looking fantastic.

Actually Z-moves are supposed to counter Megas, I'm positive that every pokémon capable of using a Z-move can't Megaevolve and vice versa !

GameFreak is really going ballz to the wall with all of the new features.

That's Ohmori's magic Director abilities, he directed ORAS and ended up with a Meh title due to it beeing a remake but now that he can stat from zero an all new get he's going all in !

love the creativeness this time around, I prefer the idea of old pokemon revisions more than megas, especially of unpopular pokemon, such as Exeggutor and Sandslash

Exeggutor new form looks crazy, in a good way

new Pokemon are good enough, Z-moves remind me of the direction DragonBall Z took, like destroy the planet in one move

don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^

I think the Island challenges = gyms and Kahunas = gym leaders though.

But only four gym leaders?

Z move is once per battle so even if it one shots, when fighting trainers you'll still need to use other moves on the rest of their Pokemon.

I usually try to use all new Pokemon on my first run through of a new generation but that Exeggutor and Ninetales are going straight on my team, they count as new right? :P

New type pairings too. Damn i like this idea of region exclusive old pokemon. I wonder if they will have thw same national pokedex number.

Lets see if Kanto starters have alola forms. Incoming charizard water dragon lol

I love Ice/Fairy Ninetales. Ninetales is one of my favorite Pokémon, and ice is my favorite typing. I only hope that Icetales has Snow Warning as its Hidden Ability.

But Z-attacks... are just too much. I think Pokémon needs to relax its feature creep a bit -- especially with regards to competitive battling. With other RPGs, you can remove features, but Pokémon constantly builds on itself.

However, I absolutely will be referring to the fire-type Z-attack as Megaflare.

What about California Smash ? (semi-reference to My Hero Academia) you know, since in California there are constantly Fires and stuff...
