This color rush thing needs to die, now. It might be a decent idea in certain cases; I'd love to see what San Diego could do with an all powder blue uniform, or maybe all black for Oakland, but what we've been given so far is just...yeck. I don't know how anyone thought this looked acceptable.

Might as well call for the death of TNF.

Always so much hate for Color Rush. Look, all three of Seattle's team colors are awful, so they were bound to look horrible because they always do. That shouldn't be blamed on Color Rush.

I've never been a huge fan of Seattle's colors myself, but last night's particular combination said colors set a new record for how bad they can look. And besides, color rush hasn't made Seattle look worse. Remember when Washington went piss yellow? Or Miami went orange jerseys and pants?

Oh forgot there's a Saturday night game. I'll take the Dolphins for tomorrow.

I will also take the Miami.

Since I skip the majority of prime time games, no, I do not remember. They should move the whole TNF thing to Friday, but I guess college football occupies Fridays and Saturdays for most of the NFL season?

Actually there aren't many Friday night college football games Friday night are all about high school football.

Then why doesn't the NFL move to Friday? Don't tell me that high school football gets on national television.

Laws were put in place to protect HS football and College football for Friday and Saturday respectively from the NFL.

I'm not entirely sure the Sports Broadcasting Act is the reason, though, because as I understand it, the act only applies to local channels. Back when Thursday Night Football was on NFL Network, it would have been just as viewable on Friday as it was Thursday. I suspect it's more of a desire to just not compete with high school football, as petty as that sounds. Some people will inevitably attend high school football games rather than watch an NFL game. And while going to such lengths just to avoid a tiny level of competition like that may seem incredibly unnecessary for an organization as successful as the NFL, remember that this is the league that banned official team twitter accounts from posting gifs of their players so that its twitter account would get more views.
