Sony will have a strategy and they'll stick to it. The US isn't the only market Sony are dominating in. They won't be thinking in terms of 'winning' in the US, they'll be concentrating on becoming the household brand around the world. On the other hand MS are concentrating entirely on the US.

If Sony don't tether a NMS bundle to the games obvious success then they're making a bigger mistake than they made with Demon's Souls. Do not let this franchise slip through your fingers, Sony.

It makes sense with UC4 because it's a first party game. There's little point in tethering a vanilla bundle to that now because it's still selling and still earning them money. NMS is a third party title that creating huge buzz around the internet and tethering a bundle to that will increase sales of the PS4.
