Playstation era was definitly the golden era of FF. It put JRPG's on the map.

I am too old for these list things. So, here you go:

FF7 and 9 are the best ones for me (if you want to count tactics, it goes in here aswell).

FFX is good.

FF3, 4, 5, 6 are alright.

Rest is a waste of time.

FF8 and FFXIII are abortions.
