Forums - Gaming - What's the best DLC you've ever played?

3. Fallout New Vegas - Dead Money. Just really imaginative. Could be frustrating but it was so different from the regular game that it was almost horror/survival. You were stripped of all your weapons and gear so you had to start over while dealing with poison fog and some nearly unkillable monsters.

2. Borderlands - General Knoxx's Armory. First, the story was interesting. Second, the fighting was better and tougher than the vanilla game. Third, there was so much replay value to using the shortcut to the Armory and raiding it over and over and over. The boss was really funny, too.

1. Fallout New Vegas - Old World Blues. Seriously, this could have been a game on its own. Wonderful humor, new gear and enemies, and just a ton of content. I very much enjoyed working my way through it and picking up the great goodies scattered around. Had some really tough encounters, too.

Undead nightmare for Red Dead Redemption. followed by Bloodborne The Old Hunters, then after that Infamous First light.

that might all change once i finally get my hands on The Witcher's DLC though

I still need to finish inFamous First Light but u was actually enjoying it more than the regular game !

the arena mode is actually quite brilliant. its very very fun. it shows that infamous has a lot of potential in co-op modes and even maybe multiplayer modes.

Hmmmm...first thing that came into my mind was Lost in Nightmares (Resident Evil 5) and Dark Arisen (Dragon's Dogma).

How dare you mention Dragon's Dogma and not Red Dead Redemption?
And I though that was the only common thing we ever had...

Undead Nightmare was great, but it's not a DLC I've honestly felt like going back and replay, unlike the Souls, RE5 or Dragon's Dogma's DLCs.

The best DLC I have ever played top 3:

1) The Witcher 3 Blood and Wine
2) Bioshock Infinite; Burial At Sea chapter 2
3) Dragon age The Stone Prisoner

I haven't bought much DLC, but I guess Undead Nightmare for Red Dead Redemption takes the crown.

The firs Splinter Cell had two fantastic DLC maps. Still to this day its one of the better examples of how to do DLC. And best of all, both missions were FREE.

Mass Effect 2 Shadow Broker and Mass Effect 3 Citadel are probably the best modern examples of DLC and the Last of Us DLC was good too.

Shivering isle's.

Driveclub Bikes
Wipeout HD Fury
Tlou Left behind
Burnout paradise Big surf island.

I never get to DLC for rpg. Once I'm done with a rpg I don't feel like going back to it, no matter how good the DLC sounds. I actually bought the physical edition of DA Origins Awakenings, installed it 3 times, never got to actually playing it. Once I stop playing an rpg, I simply can't get back into it anymore. I still have Infamous First light sitting on my hdd.

Old World Blues. Hands down.
